1. Acceptance of Terms & Purpose

Welcome to HalalRishta Canada (“we,” “our,” or “the Platform”), operated in Canada at halalrishtacanada.com. By accessing, registering, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

HalalRishta Canada is exclusively a faith-based matrimonial introduction service designed to assist single, divorced, or widowed Canadian Muslims and their families in finding a spouse for marriage (Nikah). Casual dating, friendship, commercial solicitation, or non-marital relationships are strictly prohibited.

2. Eligibility Requirements

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• You must be legally single, divorced, or widowed and eligible to contract a legal marriage in Canada.
• You must identify as a Muslim seeking a marriage partner in accordance with Islamic principles.
• Accounts registered on behalf of a son, daughter, sibling, or ward must have explicit consent from the individual.

3. Truthful Information & User Representations

You warrant that all information provided in your registration, biodata, photos, age, marital status, education, and career is accurate, truthful, and up-to-date. Providing deceptive or forged identification will result in permanent account termination and forfeiture of access.

4. Islamic Etiquette & Code of Conduct

All members must adhere to Islamic adab (etiquette) and Canadian legal standards. You agree NOT to:

• Engage in harassment, abusive language, vulgarity, or unsolicited offensive conduct.
• Solicit money, financial assistance, donations, or engage in commercial advertising.
• Share screenshot captures or distribute private photos or chats of other members without their written consent.
• Create duplicate or unauthorized accounts.

5. Identity Verification & Manual Review

To foster trust and mutual respect, profiles undergo manual review by our administration team. While our team performs identity checks and selfie reviews, HalalRishta Canada does not conduct exhaustive background checks, criminal record checks, or character references. Members and their guardians (Wali) are solely responsible for conducting their own independent due diligence before proceeding to Nikah.

6. Modesty & Photo Privacy Controls

Members may enable the Photo Blur feature. Photos remain blurred to the general membership and are revealed only upon mutual consent and accepted interest. Users agree not to misuse access to unlocked photos.

7. Disclaimers of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

HalalRishta Canada provides an introduction platform on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not guarantee that every user will find a spouse, nor do we guarantee the compatibility or character of any prospective candidate. In no event shall HalalRishta Canada, its founders, or directors be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from interactions with other users.

8. Termination & Account Deletion

You may request account deletion at any time through your Profile Settings or by submitting a request to Support. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our community standards without prior notice.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
